Boat docks are usually clean and have great signs,and garbage cans. I do wish they had a dog waste sign w bags to pick up waste. I always have my own.
The one park I used to visit regularly to walk my dogs" Ronnie Vansant Park" then one day I went and there were no dogs sign. Not must be on leash but no dogs. I don't understand the park was great for my dogs. I don't have children they are it. When I did go I did take my nieces too. I have not been back since.

It's actually becoming a very nice Park, Especially the Brand New Recreation Building the New Pool and the New play area all safely fenced in. On the down side, The problems I've encountered on a few occasions, (mostly on or around the pier & waters edge) are drunks, drug activities, stranger's approaching causing an uncomfortable feeling, homeless people, trash on the ground & in the river. (The wind & weather also play a role as far as trash & debris go). Unfortunately even though there are plenty of garbage & recycle bins some people refuse to use them. Overall It's a very nice Park to visit. I Truly Commend The GCS, City Police Dept. because of such activities at times. They have & they will continue to ensure the safety of everyone .
