I usually just play in leagues so I can't say much about the rest of the facility other than the gym. Lights could use some work. Some courts are good others not so much and there are times when the floor is slick and other times to sticky. But all around a decent gym

Pros: staff is very nice. Equipment is in good condition and a nice variety. When I first joined 2 years ago, it was nice. Wasn’t busy, plenty of parking, not a lot of kids.

Cons: unfortunately this is why I lowered my rating. Way too many kids running around, most of the time they just talk and loiter around the gym equipment. Gym is either filled with mostly old people or kids, not a lot of in between. Both of those groups like to leave gym equipment laying around. Parking can be a hassle if you go in the morning after 8 am or after 4 pm to close. Sat and Sun are even worst. Lastly, be careful of a short, rotund woman that goes around and film you while you’re working out or taking a break. She’s probably 5’4-5’5, wears hair in ponytail, always wears a N95 with yellow straps, unattractive, and no glasses.

Nice facility, clean equipment, but overall inconvenient for what my family needed a gym for. During winter basketball season, I wanted to take my 7 year old son to practice but since this gym doesn’t allow kids to have memberships, it would’ve costed $10-$15 each time I’d want to take him to practice. I’d say if you have no kids and want/need a local DG gym to workout at, this would be a great spot. For families not so much.

Clean, affordable, quality gym. Has everything you would need to workout plus a track and basketball courts. Staff is extremely friendly and respectful. They also make steady improvements to the gym each year. I will renew my membership here for years to come.

Been a member for years. I remember all the facility members that have come and gone. Glad that the men’s locker issue has been rectified. Not sure who was responsible for all the True equipment, but I’m 5’7 inches. I’m a power lifter and the bench press rests are too high. I’ve talked to others that our my height and have the same grips. Can you bring back the old ones or get me a booster pad?

Great gym, clean space, friendly staff, respectful people from the community, and the times I’ve gone in around 6:30AM or after work I’ve been able to get to the weights/racks I’ve needed to with no issues.

Absolutely love this gym and the people that work there and workout there. However I was wondering if you guys could potentially change the closing time to 10 pm so some people could get longer lifts in, thanks.

This is a great facility with exercise equipment and classes and basketball courts, they do not have a swimming pool though. They have lots of sports programs my favorite of course is basketball. One of these days I'd like to join a team. Prices are reasonable for Downers Grove residents on par with other gyms.
