Please disregard the review made by the mediocre white man who lives to complain just for the sake of complaining (check out some of the other reviews this ""man" has left for other establishments) this place is an invaluable resource in the community and is a lifeline for hundreds of families and individuals a week. They are welcoming and fun and incredibly helpful and accommodating. Its also incredible to see how helpful and caring they are to those in the homeless community (who are usually unable to provide proof of residency or income...) they also make sure that everyone who applies for services leaves with a box of emergency food. I have been going there weekly for almost two years Boe and I look forward to going just because of the atmosphere, employees, volunteers and incredible selection of food ,the produce specifically. I hope you review doesn't deter anyone who needs assistance from utilizing this incredible community resource. Also I adore Lori and have never seen anyone feel differently. You will love this place (especially since they don't force religious views to gain access to the program) and you will too!!

If I could give fewer stars I would. Where do I start.. I have an account here but I rarely use it because most of the time I don't need help with food. However on the rare occasion that I do need some help which has only happened twice in the last year both times I have been turned away by the lady who's name is Lauri who now manages this place. With the reason that I need to re-certify by providing proof of income and a utility bill neither of which I can provide because I am unemployed and I don't get a utility bill because I work at the property I have my RV parked on to pay my rent which includes my utilities. So twice now when I've needed food because I was unable to make enough money to buy my own I've pretty much been told tough luck. If I didn't need the help I wouldn't have sat in the lobby and waited for almost an hour in order to ask for some food. The fact that I was turned away like they didn't have enough food for me because of a piece of paper is ridiculous and I wasnt even the only one turned away the last time i visited either I witnessed 2 other people get turned away with nothing in the hour that I was there. It's donated food. No one who shows up needing help with food should ever be turned away with nothing for any reason. Something needs to change here.

These people are income based so if you make to much money they can't help because there income part of reality is not up to date because most peoples rent is 2400 to 2800 dollars per month but they might give you an emergency box if you call and ask them first tho don't waste your time going there call first idahos income for food stamps is set at 4000 something which is also not up to date for a big family you have to make at 5000 to 6000 dollars per month to survive but like I said idaho is behind in the times

Great place! Best food bank ive ever seen. They give you points to spend each month to go towards food items. You get to pick out what you and your family will use. Also the bread and produce cost no points. Awesome place!

I think this place is amazing, they treat you so nice and don’t judge you. It’s set up like a grocery store so you have choices. Foods not already rotten like the cda one seems to be. It’s clean and very organized. The only thing I would change is maybe putting a sticker on the food instead of writing on it. My child was laughed at and teased at lunch because someone saw the numbers and pointed out it was from food bank. Which broke my heart. So i Would do a sticker system instead so they can peel off. Only other issue is there always out of sugar, and canned chicken and very rarley can u get milk that isn’t already over due. And some items should be less points than they list as but. All in all amazing amazing place
